I was blessed at a young age with a love for baking, and really great hair; both have stuck pretty well. Apart from adding bruises to my legs playing outside in the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with my Paula Deen inspired mother. When we weren't drowning our food in butter and gravy (southern staples, y'all), I was learning the tricks of the trade all from her. Thank you mom!

In May of 2013, I was thrown in to the position of nurse, chef, diaper changer, chauffer, and baby cuddler all in one day. Surprise! It was the happiest I had ever been, until this new baby brought many sleepless nights and crying....lots of crying. Fast forward 3 months and thanks to my eldest and her dairy intolerance, creativity in the chef role was forced upon me. Coffee, wine, crying (on my part), hours of research and appointments with a Holistic doctor led me here! I can't say it wasn't hard giving up butter and gravy (and cheese...oh, cheese) but a happy baby and consequently happy body have been worth it.

You can find me in the kitchen, on Pinterest, or playing with my baby girls. I LOVE creating guilt-free meals which are as enjoyable as they are healthy.

I hope I can inspire you and privide you and your loved ones with delicious nutrition that everyone will love!

Thank you for visiting!
